Here are the ground transportation options available at the CAYO COCO Jardines del Rey International Airport (CCC) in Cuba:

Chartered Shuttle bus:
Most tourists arriving in Cayo Coco by air already have the transfers included in their flight-hotel package. If it's the case, then when you exit the terminal you are greeted by your Tour Operater representative who will show you on which shuttle bus (or minibus) to board for the transfer to your hotel.

Taxi:
You can find taxis when exiting the terminal. A taxi ride from the airport to Cayo Coco resorts takes 10 to 20 minutes and costs approximately 15 CUC one-way (equivalent to $15 USD). A taxi ride from the airport to Cayo Guillermo resorts takes 40-45 minutes and costs approximately 30-40 CUC one-way (equivalent to $30-40 USD). Always agree the fare first.

Public Buses:
There’s no VIAZUL bus terminal or any other public buses station at the Cayo Coco Airport.

Booking in advance is recommended, especially during the high season when the demand for rental cars exceeds the supply. Prices vary from approximately 50 CUC to 125 CUC per day depending on car category and time of year. Insurance is mandatory and usually costs 15 CUC per day.
